I know kids love technology and I wanted to create activities to keep them engaged! I was shocked how easy it is to create QR codes. I'm totally serious! Type the text you want, click create QR code, and then copy and paste the code into your powerpoint. That's it! It's embarrassingly easy! I used Kaywa QR Code.
I just finished my first pack.
Students complete the sorts and follow the directions for the activities. Then they can use an iPod, iPad or any other device with a QR scanner to scan the code and check their answers. I think my students are going to love scanning and checking their work!
If you want to check out a FREE sample activity, I've uploaded one to my TpT Store.
Here is a preview:
This file includes 1 short vowel sound sort. The students should look at the pictures, listen to the middle vowel sounds and sort the words under the vowel header cards. Then they should write the words under the correct vowel on the recording sheet. Finally, they can use an iPod, iPad or any other device with a QR scanner to scan the code and check their work.
Anyone else using QR codes in their classrooms?
